Billing Specialist

Who We Are:

We’re a leading entertainment advertising agency based in LA, producing trailers, TV spots, and social campaigns for some of the biggest studios in the business, such as Disney, Netflix, Warner Bros., and more.

We’re hiring a Billing Specialist to help manage and streamline our client billing process. This role is perfect for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills, and experience in project-based billing — ideally in an agency or entertainment environment.

You don’t need to be an accountant to thrive in this role. If you’ve handled billing as a producer, coordinator, or in any client- or agency-side capacity, we want to hear from you. What matters most is being detail-oriented, proactive, and excellent with people.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and send client invoices based on project timelines, scopes, and deliverables
• Track billable hours, expenses, and change orders across multiple teams
• Partner with producers and project managers to ensure accurate billing
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and maintain positive client relationships
• Support reporting, reconciliations, and financial documentation
• Help improve billing workflows as we grow

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or A/R (agency or client-side preferred)
• Strong communication skills — confident, friendly, and client-facing
• Comfortable with Excel, and able to learn project tracking tools (i.e. Filemaker)
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
• Interest in growing from part-time to full-time as the role expands

Compensation based on experience

• Part-Time: $33-$50 per hour
• Full-Time: $70-$90,000 per year, plus full benefits, including health and 401K
