Finishing Editor (Swing Shift)

Tiny Hero is looking to expand our Post-Production Finishing team to include evening coverage! 

This is an onsite position that requires strong communication and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment. This candidate should have a long-term interest in post-production workflows and finishing. Any experience/interest in color correction is a major plus!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in Entertainment Marketing Post Production (especially finishing).
• Computer skills required: Adobe Creative Suite  (Intermediate to Expert), Davinci Resolve (Beginner to Intermediate), Cloud storage/transmission, Aspera, Box, WireDrive, Microsoft Office Suite, G-suite
• Extensive knowledge of video and audio formats
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while being extremely detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Basic conforming and transcoding with Adobe Premiere, including cutting in video and audio tracks, changing sequence settings, and exporting deliverables.
• Reading and comprehending finishing memos and spec sheets
• QC all deliverables
• Creating finishing documents, including cue sheets, scripts, captions, etc.
• Maintaining organization and workflows by properly managing media assets
• Provide technical/workflow support and trouble-shooting to other divisions as needed
